On Wednesday dawn, many Israeli military vehicles invaded Kafr Dan town, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, shot a young man, abducted four from their homes, and detonated a Palestinian car.
Media sources said the soldiers stormed and ransacked many homes in the town, causing excessive damage, and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
The sources added that the soldiers abducted Malek Mohammad Aabed, Ehsan Ayman ‘Aabed and his brother Osama, and former political prisoner Mojahed Ahmad Salah.
The soldiers also detonated a car owned by the father of Ehsan and Osama and caused excessive damage during violent searches of the home.
Many Palestinians protested the invasion before the soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.
Medical sources said one Palestinian suffered a shrapnel wound from a bullet in the leg, and many suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.
Also, Palestinian armed resistance groups said their fighters exchanged fire with the soldiers and detonated an explosive charge while the soldiers invaded Kafr Dan and several areas around the town.
On Tuesday night, the soldiers abducted a young man, Ahmad Sweilem, near the Huwwara military roadblock and assaulted another young man near the Za’tara military roadblock south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
